I make pictures awash with light, in muted tones, textured and detailed, conveying the timelessness in all of our stories...

I have a way of noticing, from the wrinkle of bed sheets in the morning, to a glass jar of garden roses beaded with rain, to the diffused glow through the stained glass window of an old church. It may be a breathtaking view - the lush, rolling green hills of the Scottish countryside or the crashing sea on an island hundreds of miles off the coast of Africa. It may be the way a silk skirt is picked up by the breeze, or the way a new mother touches her finger to her newborn’s cheek. I am always looking for the poetry, the resonance, the humanity. I click to capture it with my lens, suspending a split second into a frame that now takes on a life of its own.

I began photographing over a decade ago when my husband and I were young newlyweds living and travelling all over the world. Along the way, I've shot professionally both at home in England and abroad - from the bustling souks of Morocco to the lush tea plantations of Sri Lanka. I am commissioned by both private and commercial clients, capturing a wide array of portraits, milestones, artwork and campaigns.

I have worked with lifestyle brands, from fine children’s clothes to natural skincare, as well as content creators and editors. I have had the privilege of being featured and recognised by international brands and publications including Belmond Hotels, UK Tourism, The National Trust, Brooks Brothers, Elle France, Apartment Therapy and The Calcot Collection among others.

We now live at the edge of Hyde Park in London where I make our home and mother our little boy, alongside my anthropology studies of culture, heritage and femininity. All the while I am always collecting moments - the sparks of feeling alive - whether rummaging for fine china in a charity shop, or sinking into a hot bath after a blustery country walk, or singing and dancing the night away in a piano bar.
